"To minimize the incidence of poverty" in our Congregation and Communities.
To promote a vibrant economic environment focusing on women and youth in the lower income bracket in the church and the larger community to earn a living through access to quality micro-financial services.
The aim of GIF is to promote the socio-economic development of the poor and by that, working and contributing in a most professional and qualitative manner towards ensuring an improved quality of life for the underprivileged women and youth of our Church. GIF's work is based on the values of Christian motivation and obligation towards the development of the individual as a whole. In this regard, it employs and promotes self-help strategies by mobilizing excess funds from church members and channelling them to the productive poor in the church and its immediate environs.
